What should be noted when we test tethered drones?
Firstly, understand how to connect tether station and drones. The following figure is for reference only.
The air module and backup battery connect in parallel, like in below picture.
2. After receiving our tether power system, check whether the outer packaging is intact and damaged.
Open the packaging and check if the system are intact. If there is any damage, please communicate with our sales as soon as possible to obtain a timely solution, repair or compensation from shipping company since we always buy inssurance for our goods.
3. Read the user manual carefully and the cautions please.
4. Connect ground module and air module.
Connect AC input power supply to the tether system, turn on high voltage , and use a multimeter to check if the power and voltage output of the air module are normal. Make sure there are no issues, then you can connect the drone.
5. Turn off tether system. After connecting cable power system with the drone , turn on high voltage and observe whether the voltage on drone's remote control and connection of the drone are normal.
6. For safety reasons, it is recommended to test the endurance of the drone first.
Connect tether system and drone, place drone on a testing platform to verify its endurance by testing different throttle settings. When it is confirmed that the endurance of the drone is not a problem, the drone can be taken off for flight testing.
